SCREEN PRINTED T-SHIRTS
3-week course: June 9th, 16th & 23rd
Tuesdays from 6-8pm

Age requirements: 18+
Learn to hand print your own design on a t-shirt! This workshop will cover the basics of screen printing a one layer/one color print. We will take inspiration from nature, or anything you’re excited about. In the first class we will create our designs and coat screens with emulsion. In the second and third classes you will expose your screens, learn to print, and heat set your t-shirts. Expect a communal atmosphere of learning from each other (one student prints at a time). INTRO TO SCREEN PRINTING ON FABRIC 
2-week course: July 14th & 21st
Tuesdays from 5:30-8:30pm

This workshop will cover all the basics of screen printing. We will take inspiration from nature, or anything you’re excited about. You will leave the workshop with three tea towels featuring your own artwork! Optional: If you prefer working digitally, please bring your ipad or laptop. HAND PAINTED & STENCILED DENIM

Age requirements: 18+
Learn to embellish and upcycle denim! Bring your own jeans, denim jackets, canvas tote bags or any type of denim fabric to sew into something later. We will be inspired by nature or anything you’re excited about. You will learn how to design and cut out your own stencils, the best type of fabric paints to use, techniques for painting on fabric, and how to heat set your fabric so they are washer-safe. SCREEN PRINTING ON PAPER
September 8, 15, 22 & 29

Age requirements: 18+
In this four-week workshop you will complete two-three printing projects and learn all the basics of Screen Printing. We will cover different techniques for creating stencils, including hand-drawn, paper cut out, or digitally printed.* You will gain experience coating a screen with emulsion, learn to burn a screen with an exposure unit, and have ample opportunity to practice printing multiples on paper.
